We both had a pretty good night’s sleep despite being a little stiff and sore, and managed to sleep in till 6:45am!! What lazy buggers!
Wendy decided it was a good day to be a domestic goddess, so did some washing (had to buy a token, instead of using coins, and special washing powder for $5/load), cleaning (sweeping and wiping), and then did some Army work. She managed to complete a half-day’s work which broke the back of the audit reporting she needed to do, which was a big relief.
Whilst Wendy worked (washing and cleaning are also considered work, you know), Greg did some MTB rides, some with Bostons on their electric bikes.
After lunch we both tried to have a nana nap, but with all the people checking-in and bashing and crashing, it was a little difficult, so in the end we just read our books. After a little more ‘downtime’ it was time for pre-dinner drinks, this time at Bostons. Greg was especially hungry so Wendy cut away to prepare dinner – smashed veggies and sausages.
Cards were
played again in the camp kitchen and it was bedtime a little later than usual
for Greg, but normal for Wendy.
