Day 4: Sat 29 Aug 15 - Roma to Takarakka (Carnarvon Gorge)

Drive: 239 km 

We were ready a little earlier than the usual 10am departure so set off.  Mornos was had in a lovely park in Injune, however, just as the brews were ready, it started to rain, so we all sat in the van and it was quite cosy.  Now that the bodies were refuelled, it was off to Takarakka.  We arrived just after midday and after setting up sufficiently, we had lunch and then a nap. 

Geoff and Marg had arrived the day before, and we all had a great afternoon sitting around and chatting to catch up.  Pre-dinner drinks were hosted by the Fischers, with dinner consumed shortly thereafter. As we have a big day tomorrow, it was early to bed to build up strength.
